Boise

Okay, so my friends from Boise, who I have missed so very much, planned a girls get-away weekend. YAY for Girls Weekends. It was awesome, amazing, fun.

So when I got there, I was greeted by these wonderful friends...

And as tradition, we had to make Kelly's Dad's Salsa. If you have had it, you know exactly what I am talking about it. Have you ever actually craved salsa before? If not, you will if you had this salsa. So we went to the store and got ingredients...

And because of the car situation, we were not able to do our traditional Chinese Fire Drill, but at least we WOULD have if we could have...
The salsa. It does not need any more explaination...
Eating the salsa and getting ready to play cards all night long...
More friends...
We both attempted to take pictures of each other at the same time. Lovely.
Breakfast at a lovely place downtown...
More friends!
And finally, sacrament in my old ward was awesome. I miss you girlies already!

Summer

This is one of the wonderful things about summer. After a fun day of swimming and fun in the sun....

Kyler fell asleep smack dab in the middle of the living room with the tv going, cort, me and brayden playing and having fun...good times...6:15 p.m.

To my honey. I love you for many reasons, but here are some of the reasons that I especially think you are a GREAT Father!

Who else in the entire world would dress up like Britney Spears AND go out in public, let alone their office? To put the icing on the cake and the cherry on top, who then would actually sing and dance to her song?? Only my hubby!! hit me Baby, One more time. (please dont kill me for showing this picture!! hee hee)
You are always involved with the kids, and they LOVE spending time with you. Like making pizza together.
You love being together as a family AND you always let me go to my Girls night outs so I can be a more patient mom. ;)

You are a wild and crazy guy to say the least.
You would give the coat off your back to any one of your children at any time.
You went on your lunch break EVERY SINGLE DAY to see your baby in the NICU. And that's one of the many reasons he knows you and loves you so much!

And last but not least, you are a sweet and loving Dad who works very hard to be there for your kids always. This is you and Kyler 5 years ago when you were a first time Dad. Thanks for all you do for our family honey. Thank you for being such a great Dad to our 3 crazy boys. We all love you so much!

Love, Elizabeth, Kyler, Brayden and Keaton

4 boys, 4 Haircuts

Okay so one of the awesomest things about having boys is that WE can cut their hair! Okay, so Cortney cuts their hair, and then I cut his. Now every 4th haircut or so Cort will go in and have it professionally done and no doubt fix a ton of mistakes I have made, but I think I have come a long way over the years and you can tell from these pics I do a danged good job! Just look at these handsome boys!

And we had to keep Keaton up late for his first haircut, so he's not happy in the photo! Just keep your hands off ladies, these boys are all mine ;) And might I add, they ALL have pants on in this pic, we just take shirts off for the haircut (is this getting too personal?!)...hee hee I just felt the need to explain that one...

Yes, Keaton did have his first haircut. He did not need a lot of hair cut, but mainly around the sides above his ears, and doesn't he just look so grown up now??? Sniff, sniff.

S & S Railroad

There is a super cool railroad station by our house. It is little and for kids and adults to come and ride during certain times of the year. We were so excited when we drove by Saturday and saw that it was open. So we went with the kids, and it was so much fun!

Here are my three beautiful boys sitting on this really cool tree. I love big trees that are climbable without getting hurt- the boys had a blast playing on it.

Self-portrait... (Can you see I am getting tan already this summer!?)
Keaton's second time on a swing, he loved it!

All Aboard! The boys on the train before take-off.

A bridge near a mini golf course on the property.

A little stationary train the boys played on.

It was a very nice Satruday.

A Sitting Golfer

So I am really working with Keaton to try and get him to sit up on his own. He is 9 months old, but with these things we can only go by what he should be, which is 6 months. Soooo...he's not really behind, I just am trying to encourage him. He sits up a little on his own leaning forward, but in these pictures I think he looks so silly! ;)

And Ladies, may I add he cannot date for 20+ years, so you're gonna have to wait...I know its hard.
And yes, I am aware he looks like a golfer...isn't this outfit almost as irresistible as he is?

Little Fish

So last year we did not have a pleasant experience with the city pool's swim lessons. I searched for the past several months for someone who teaches privately or to a small group of kids at a private pool and I found Melissa. She is AWESOME. She is 19, has taught the past several summer's, is CPR certified, etc. And my kids loved her and loved going. So they had two weeks of lessons and they are getting so good.

One of the cool things about where the lessons are, they have rabbits and kittens that roam around and so while Kyler is swimming, Brayden is playing with the animals or in the park area. And while Brayden is swimming, Kyler is playing with the animals, etc. You get the idea. Kyler just loved chasing the little kittens everywhere.

My little fish!
