Random....

How come kids need a drink of water before bed every night? And how come I am always frustrated when they ask for one after they are already tucked into bed? I cannot possibly be surprised by this considering they do it every night...and yet, somehow I am. Hmmm....

Ditto... I have two theories as to the frustration. Bedtime= quiet time. Bedtime= ME time. The more they get out of bed, the longer it takes for me to get what I want. At the end of the day, we are a little selfish. Theory two- bedwetting. I don't want to give them a drink at bedtime, because then at 3am they are waking me up to say they wet the bed! DOUBLE the interruptions during MY quiet time! I'm done... and feel better too. I hope you do too!

I am with you on this one. Cheltzi has a drink before I tuck her in and then she still wants one after she is in bed. I think she is just testing me. Who knows though. I actually don't even like her to have a drink right before she gets into bed. She doesn't usually wet the bed, but I don't want her to start. Yuck!

we give drinks of water, too. Why not? I love a drink right before bed AND I make Tim get it for me! Have you seen Horton Hears A Who? (98 drinks of water at bedtime!)Now, that would be something...
